Guiyang Packers

It has been a bit of a long day as I woke up at 3:30 am this morning to watch the Packer game.  Emily's parents were nice enough to set their computer in front of the TV and run a skype call the entire game.  It was a lot of fun to watch the game and see the Pack get back to the Super Bowl.  Oddly enough the only two times I have ever been in China the Packers made the NFC championship game, the last time being the 07-08 season when Favre through a pic in overtime giving the game to the Giants who went on to upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

I have been wearing my Packers stocking cap almost non-stop since we arrived as it is always cold here.  I have been told on numerous occasions that the Packers G looks like the logo for the Guiyang television station.  Although the stations logo is also a G the color schemes are different and the G's are just not that similar.  None the less I think secretly Guiyang TV and the roughly 4 million inhabitants of the city are rooting for a Packer victory....what more could you ask for in your run for the Lombardi Trophy?
